mame is 62

it is such a cliche to say..'im thankful for having a mother like my mom' or 'im gonna choose the same mother in my second life'..'she is the best mom one could ever have'..it has been said a thousand times but...it is what it is. a mother is a mother..

i used to think of her just like a regular mommy..no special reason..she is special because she is my mom.

many years has passed..we have faced a lot of challenges as a family..and she herself faced a serious challege in her life..looking back it made me realize that she is the strongest person i know..she really is and i admire her for that..

recently, i have a dilemna and it is giving me mental stress..and mame is the person i least expect to help out but she did. literally solved it out, she did not try or hesitate..she solved it for me. I appreciated it. it when i realize, no matter where i am right now or how old i am today..to mame, im still her child. she is just beyond precious.

to mame..thank you..and happy happy birthday to you.
my wish for you is to have many many more birthdays to celebrate and wishing we could celebrate it together..i know God is good and He listens to every wish He knows we deserve..

Love you mame..

Pink Marathon: Breast Cancer Awareness

last friday..4th November 2010 held the Pink Marathon: walk for a cause for Breast Cancer Awareness. I attended it wholeheartedly and i offer it to all the breast cancer patients who have lost the battle with cancer, for all the survivors like my mom and most especially for those who are currently battling with the disease. This is something a little personal to me cause my family have been there and I've seen the pain and the suffering of not only the patient but as well of the love ones around. May God continue to bless those who survive and bless more those who are currently in fight!

me and friends enjoy the walk

remembering the King

June 25, the day the world lost the most talented entertainer that ever lived and one of the beautiful person ever step in this planet..Michael Jackson
it is just so amazing to know how genuine person he is despite the roller coaster life he dealt with. he have touched so many lives and use his talent to help the wounded world we are living in. Until now it is heartbreaking to know he is gone..and i miss him

There isn't a day where I don't miss or think about the amazing memories you gave me.
Your presence is always felt and your love has never left. Most importantly through your life people now see what a genuine, selfless, giving, kind, heart is all about and that's how I know you expect us to also live our lives. By your example we will do the best we can to always make you proud. - austin brown (his nephew)

Michael Jackson forever the King of Pop

waiting..wanting..

In a moment of emptiness..you wish for something and when you see it..you grab it. At the moment you win but in a snap its gone.. It is when you decide should you hold on or should you let go..But letting go is not an option..though holding on is not either. Fantasy is such a pathetic challenge. A fight you know you have zero chances of winning.

But will you ever can control of your emotion..? Every chances, every memories bring you excitement.. the kind you miss and you long for so long.. although this is what you want..you have no choice but to stay still and wait..start hoping and just wishing..hurting and..still wanting...

daddy's opinion (ehem)

daddy:
si Gibo Teodoro nag resign sa pagiging Presidente ng Lakas Kampi CMD,, najunk sila ni GMA bec of first Gentleman, tma ang email nyo GMA is supporting Villar in president bid. The games of politics in the Phil is different compare to other countries, Pinoy politicians are brilliant, very brilliant.

ako: kaya sila kuya ayaw kila villar

daddy: GMA is protecting herself when she step down. her foresight is to sheild her and the GMA family. What can you ask for, history will judge the Arroyo's

daddy: timpla ko ng coffee,
daddy: nakapagtimpla nko ng coffee, pra mawala ang nerbyos ko sa mga tumatakbo ng President

daddy: i believe, on my own opinion, who ever elected President will not change the image of our country. Why? can he accomplished that in 6 years, there are many problems facing our country, the Mindanao secession, patayan dito patayan duon, bombahan dito bombahan duon, who is the loser, may mga activist, rightist, leftist and centries. May mga nakapaligid n chinese smugglers around malacanang very influencial. may drug problems, may military problems, you name it. even the influence of Western/Eastern countries, the CIA, etc. these are only a few factors of problems that will affect the new President. How can the President solve this problems, perhaps, only GOD's intervention and Divine Guidance.

Who ever become President of our Country come 2010 and beyond, must seek the Divine Guidance, a guts to perform his duties, He must select an advisers to every branch of our Government to stengthen........................... at n cut n ang mega speech ni dade sa chat dahil dumating na si mame...hahaha

ow my Geeh! la ko masabi sa dad ko kundi "de san mo nkukuha mga opinions n yan!" hehe

bakit kaya diko man lng namana utak ng dade ko..

Madonna Tribute to Michael Jackson in MTV Music Awards

3months after MJ's death, MTV paid a tribute to him. Madonna opened it with a beautiful eulogy. I know little of her but damn her speech is hell great! It was last september but i thought it'd be nice to post her speech here..so here it goes..

"Michael Jackson was born in August 1958 so was I. Michael jackosn grew up in the suburbs of Midwest so did I. When Michael Jackson was 6, he became superstar, and was perhaps the world's most beloved child. When I was 6, my mother died. I think he got the shorter end of the stick. I never had a mother, but he never had a childhood and when you never get to have something, you become obsessed by it.

I spent my childhood searching for my mother figures. Sometimes I was sucessful, but how do you recreate your childhood when you are under the magnifying glass of the world.

There is no question that Michael Jackson is one of the greatest talents the world has ever known. That when he sang at the ripe of old age of 8 he could make you feel an experience adult was squeezing you heart with his word. That when he moved he had the elegance of Fred Astaire and packed the punch of Muhammed Ali. That his music had an extra layer of inexplicable magic that didnt just make you want to dance but actually made you believe you could fly, dare to dream, be anything that you wanter to be. Because that is what heroes do and Michael Jackson was a hero.

He performed in soccer stadiums around the world, and sold hundres of millions of records and dined with Prime Ministers and Presidents. Girls fell in love with him. Boys fell in love with him, Everyone wanted to dance like him. He seemed otherwordly - but he was a human being.

Like most performers he was shy and plaqued with insecurities. I cant say we were great friends, but in 1991 I decided I wanted to try to get to know him better. I asked him out to dinner, I said "My treat, I'll drive - just you and me"

He agreed and showed up to my house without any bodyguards. We drove to the restaurant in my car. It was dark out, but he was still wearing sunglasses.

I said, " Michael, I feel like I'm talking to a limousine. Do you think you can take off your glasses so I can see your eyes?"

Then he tossed the glasses out the window, looked at me with a wink and a smile and said, "Can you see me now? Is that better?"

In that moment, i could see both his vulnerability and his charm. The rest of the dinner, I was hell-bent on getting him to eat French Fries, drink wine, have dessert and say bad words. Things he never seemed to allow himself to do. Later we went back to my house to watch a movie and sat on the couch like two kids, and somewhere in the middle of the movie, his hand snuck over and held mine.

It felt like he was looking for more of a friend than a romance, and I was happy to oblige. In that moment, he didn't feel like a superstar. He felt like a human being.

We went out a few more times together, and then for one reason or another we fell out of touch. Then the witch-hunt began and it seemed like one negative story after another was coming out about Michael. I felt his pain, I know what it's like to walk down the street and feel like the whole world is turned against you. I know what it's like to feel helpless and unable to defend yourself because the roar of the lynchmob is so loud you feel your voice can never be heard.

But I had a childhood, and I was allowed to make mistakes and find my own way in the world without the glare of the spotlight.

When I first heard that Michael had died, I was in London, days away from the start of my tour. Michael was going to perform in the same venue as me a week later. All I could think about in that moment was, "I had abandoned him. That we had abandoned him. That we hadh allowed this magnificent creature who had once set the world on fire to somehow slip through the cracks. While he was trying to build a family and rebuild his career, we were all passing judgement. most of us had turned our backs on him. In a desperate attempt to hold onto his memory, I went on the Internet to watch old clips of him dancing and singing on TV and on stage and I thought, " my God, he was so unique, so original, so rare, and there will never be anyone like him again. He was a King."

But he was also a human being, and alas we are all human beings and sometimes we have to lose things before we can appreciate them. I want to end this on a positive note and say that my sons, age 9 and 4, are obsessed with Michael Jackson. There's a whole lot of crotch grabbing and moonwalking going on in my house. and, it seems like a whole new genaration of kids have discovered his genius and are bringing him to life again. I hope that wherever Michael is right now he is smiling about this.

Yes, Michael Jackson was a human being but he was a King. Long live the King."
