last week i watch him perform a tribute to the late jazz singer Amy Winehouse at this yr's MTV VMAs singing 'valerie' and he didn't disappoint. it was an AMAZING performance. classy, flawless and in every sense' perfect.
he just solidify his status as a class act. he set the bar so incredibly high and i guess he earn alot of respect after that performace and to prove that he got a standing O from the live audience. i think i rip the play button like 20times.. hehe

Amy Winehouse was remembered at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards by friends Russell Brand and Tony Bennett, but the highlight of the tribute was Bruno Mars' rendition of "Valerie."
With pop-art images of the late singer flashing behind him, Mars and his band du-wopped and danced through the song, Winehouse's breakout hit as those in the crowd, including Adele and Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice, sang along.
"Amy, I love you darling," Mars added during an instrumental breakdown, "Amy, We'll miss you baby."

Finally, chart-topper Bruno Mars - flanked by full band with horn and string sections - performed a rousing, hand-clapping rendition of the Winehouse hit "Valerie". Full of life and joy, it seeemed to uplift the entire auditorium. (adele was one of may famous audience members singing along.) One of the best VMA performances ever.
