The Burj Al Arab

It’s been a year and a half im staying in Dubai. I got used to the Arabs, desserts and the Shaikh Zayed road. But what I cannot be used to is the huge stunning building alongside Jumeirah road. The spectacular “Burj Al Arab”. Literally means The Tower of Arabs, Shaikh Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai (as he is always addressed) created the idea of having a structure that will serve as a landmark for the City and will put the country to a much higher altitude. The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel located at Jumeirah, Dubai. The structure was inspired by the concept of a sailing boat symbolizing the city's urban life. It was built on an artificial island just like the Liberty Tower in New York. It rises about 1053 ft from the ground which makes it the tallest hotel in the world plus being the only 7-star hotel makes it one of the most luxurious and lavish hotel on earth.
